## Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) now available

It is now possible to enable **Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)** using recognized and widely used applications such as:

- **Google Authenticator**
- **Microsoft Authenticator**
- **Other compatible systems**

For more details on configuration methods, a complete guide to [Account Management](https://docs.4hse.com/guides/first-steps/account-console/) is available.

Soon, the option for multi-factor authentication via **email** will also be available, allowing for more flexible configuration, particularly useful in contexts where it is not possible or desirable to use dedicated apps.

## Security compliant with international standards and NIS2 directives

The introduction of the new authentication system is part of a broader framework of initiatives aimed at ensuring maximum security and data protection. 4HSE has the following international certifications:

- **ISO 27001** – Information security management
- **ISO 27017** – Security for cloud services
- **ISO 27018** – Protection of personal data in the cloud

Additionally, 4HSE is accredited by the **National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN)**.

Further information on the certifications obtained is available on the dedicated page: [4HSE Certifications](/certifications/).

The new authentication system has been designed to comply with the European **NIS2** Directive, which introduces stringent cybersecurity requirements for organizations, both public and private.

## A flexible approach for public and private customers

The system has been designed to adapt to different types and sizes of organizations, with particular attention to the needs of:

- Public Administrations
- Private companies, SMEs and large enterprises
- Professionals and individual users

The goal is to ensure secure and simple access, in compliance with the highest regulatory standards.

## Continuous commitment to security

Information and access security is a central element for 4HSE. The release of the new Strong Authentication system constitutes a further step in the path of continuous improvement, with the aim of offering customers reliable, secure tools that comply with current regulations.
